What is CMA?
Cluster Management Application (here and after is referred as CMA) is mainly designed to create, deploy and manage SimpliKube clusters.

The following diagram explains in high-level the basic tasks flow that you perform to install and deploy a SimpliKube cluster:
As you can see from the diagram, by using CMA you can install and deploy SimpliKube on a bare metal server or in AWS or Alliyun cloud.
CMA features
In addition to cluster deployment use cases, CMA provides a number of features described in this section.
Nodes management
- Access an inventory with a list of available nodes
- View data of the nodes in the inventory
- Manually add nodes to the inventory by discovering them with the predefined IP address and IPMI credentials
- Delete nodes from the inventory
- View node details in the Hardware info section
Cluster management
- Configure and create cluster structures
- Configure nodes and add them to a cluster structure
- Provision cluster with a specific configuration
- Edit any cluster configuration including any node configuration
- Re-provision a cluster when any configuration changes are made
- Delete nodes from the cluster
- Delete a cluster structure.
SimpliKube releases management
- Download new release version or use an old one
- Edit or delete release
- View the release status and details.
